Born and Raised in the Greater San Diego Area
I'm James Nelson, and I have been fishing the bays and lakes of Southern California for better than 30 years. Born and raised in San Diego, I cut my teeth fishing Mission Bay, and rode my bike to San Diego Bay after school many times, while growing up. As a tournament angler with FLW, WON Bass, and East County Bassmasters, I have learned to refine my fish finding skills. These skills are what I teach with every trip. When you fish San Diego with me, you will catch fish; learn some techniques, and have a great time. I am Licensed, bonded, insured, and CPR certified. I am a father of four, and considered by others to be an excellent educator, and a pleasure to fish with. I work well with kids, beginners, and seasoned anglers alike. = Whether you fish San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, or any of the many lakes that the greater San Diego area has to offer, you will have a trip worth returning for. Fishing San Diego is always fun and exciting. Lakes Otay, and Hodges are notorious for huge Largemouth Bass, and other warm water species. Just east of San Diego is Lakeside, named after its highly prolific lakes; San Vicente, El Capitan, and Jennings. Just north of San Diego, is Riverside County; home of the West's newest famous Bass Lake - Diamond Valley, or the bodacious bluegill capital - Lake Perris, and the only natural lake in southern California - Lake Elsinore. If it's Stripers you want, we have two choices local to San Diego; Lake Skinner, and Diamond Valley. Do you favor a mountain setting? San Diego has that too. We have great mountain lakes in the likes of Henshaw, Wohlford, Cuyamaca, and Morena. = If it's bass you're looking for, we've got 'em. = Bass, Bluegill, Carp, Catfish, Crappie, Striper, and Trout all inhabit San Diego's variety of freshwater lakes.
